Most parents want their children to become independent adults. But when it comes to car insurance, I believe that teens should stay on their parent's insurance, while they are living at home. Teens can usually save around 60-70% on their car insurance if they stay on their parent's policy until they are really on their own. What you can do, as parents, is make sure that your son or daughter doesn't let their insurance lapse. This is one of the main causes high insurance premiums for young people.

I've called many potential customers and have done quotes for them.
